Managing Information Technology

This book discusses the management of information technology. What is the definition of information technology and whether the same information systems. Written by E. Wainright Martin et al (Prentice Hall, first printing 1999). In an introduction in Chapter I the author told the origin of the first computer. It is said that the first computer in 1946 called the ENIAC (Electric Numerical International Computer), initiated by Dr. John W. Manlchy & J. Presper (Moore School of Electrical Engineering; Univ. Pennsylvania). This book is an old, but good enough story in sequence. Because the author tells about the history and types of any picture of information technology, and then presented on management information systems. Starting from defining what a system. "System is a set of interrelated components must work together to That Achieve some common purpose (page 272)."
